A Sovereign Place, LLC is a private residential provider offering congregate residential waiver services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We provide a supportive, structured living environment that prioritizes dignity, consistency, and individualized care in a setting that feels like home.
Our approach is rooted in respect for each person as an individual. Rather than a clinical or institutional atmosphere, our home is intentionally small and thoughtfully maintained, allowing for meaningful relationships, familiarity, and daily routines that support comfort and stability.

A Sovereign Place was founded on the belief that every individual deserves compassion, belonging, and the opportunity to live a meaningful life.
Our mission is to provide supportive, structured care that encourages independence, personal growth, and self-direction, while offering peace of mind to families and caseworkers. Through individualized support and a calm residential setting, we help each guest live with dignity and confidence in their daily life.

OUR PHILOSOPHY OF CARE
Care at A Sovereign Place is person-centered and guided by each individual’s needs, abilities, and preferences. We recognize that every guest requires a different level of support, and our care adapts accordingly.
Some individuals require full assistance with daily living, while others benefit from opportunities for interaction, activities, and greater independence. Our role is to meet each person where they are—providing hands-on care when needed, and encouragement and structure where growth is possible.
This balanced approach allows guests to feel safe, supported, and respected without pressure or unrealistic expectations.
LICENSED & COMMUNITY-BASED SUPPORT
A Sovereign Place, LLC provides 24-hour supervised residential services with staff present at all times. Services are delivered within a community-based residential setting and guided by each guest’s Individualized Support Plan.
Support includes:
Assistance with daily living skills
Support with personal choices and decision-making
Emotional, physical, and mental health support
Strategies to address behavioral and emotional needs
Participation in appropriate community activities and routines
Each guest’s strengths, interests, and needs are identified through ongoing assessments to ensure care remains responsive, respectful, and truly person-centered.
